PARDES by Rabbi Isaac Levy PDF  | Print |  E-mail

PARDES is a Hebrew acronym from the Kabbalah. It represents the four levels of understanding or interpretation of the bible. PARDES is where we have received the word “paradise” from. The acronym PARDES comes from the Hebrew words Pashut, Remez, Drash, and Sod. Each word represents a level of understanding or depth in reading and understanding of God’s word.

Knowledge, Understanding, and Wisdom by Brian Cook PDF  | Print |  E-mail
I have been studying a lot about these three things; Knowledge, Understanding, and Wisdom. I have found that knowledge and understanding are things that we do here in this life with Torah. Knowledge is to read Torah. Understanding is to apply that Knowledge of Torah into our life. But what about wisdom? I have come to find that when scripture says “wisdom” it speaks of Yeshua.

From what I can understand, I see that El Elyon (God Most High) created Yeshua by the laws He made. Those Laws of El Elyon are both, spiritual and physical. Yeshua practiced these laws and therefore gained Understanding and became Wisdom. His Father put those Laws and Decrees which govern all things into Yeshua, and thus Yeshua is the first creation of The Law/Torah.

When Yeshua made the physical things we see, he used those very same laws his father put into him. Yeshua created man and demonstrated those laws to man, through various acts in the garden and through his time spent with Adam, his creation. Adam passed them on to his wife and children. His children then passed them down, all the way till they reached Noah. Noah carried those decrees with him on the Ark. He passed them on to his son Shem, and Shem then passed them to Avraham. Avraham then passed those same laws on to his son Isaac. Through Isaac, it was then passed on to all the Hebrews.

When the Hebrews came from out of Egypt, Yeshua wrote the laws and decrees on the stone tablets. This was so that all people may know what El Elyon expects of them. Israel already knew those decrees and had not been able to practice the knowledge of Torah in Egypt. Israel, as well as the mixed multitude, weren't allowed to enter into the land of milk and honey because they had disobeyed those laws in the wilderness. So they had to be purified through the wilderness. Only those who survived through the application or understanding of Torah were allowed to cross over with Yehoshua (Joshua).

Knowledge alone isn't enough. Reading the Torah is only enough to show you the expectations of God Most High. It is only through the application of that Knowledge that we are allowed to cross over into Adonai's Promised Land, into the kingdom of His Majesty. Then, once we have arrived, we become like the one who is wise, Yeshua. We become an image of Wisdom.

The End of Days by Chris Harris PDF  | Print |  E-mail

You have heard it before that we are in the last days. You have seen the news of various religious sects that believed the Lord was coming or the end of the world was near and went off to a remote area to wait for the end. But of all the times that people have said these things I believed they lacked some fundamental clues that the bible gives to tell us where we are on God’s calendar.
