Ben writes: Shalom Rabbi, I know of the feast of first fruits, and that all things that first belong to G-d, I have heard that their are three times of the year that first fruits are given? Is this correct? Where in Torah is this found? In Messiah- Thank you Rabbi Isaac Levy responds: Yes three times in the year the first fruits belongs to Adonai. Exodus 23:14: "Three times every year you shall celebrate feasts with Me," Exodus 23:15: "Thou shall not appear empty before Me." Exodus 34:26: "The first of the first fruits of your land you shall brig to the house of the LORD your God." Leviticus 23:9-11: "And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest."
